Forum participants who continuously do not abide by these rules
will be deleted and will be temporarily or permanently refused
access to the forum. 1. All users must maintain the laws and rules that apply here. Linking to illegal sites or businesses is not allowed. 2. Be proper in the language you use. Cursing, scolding and other dirty language is not allowed. Keep to the netiquette! 3. Discriminating, racist, hurting, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, provocative, shocking or sexually tinted topics or replies can not be placed. This also involves pictures, subscriptions and links that can be taken that way. 4. Be respectful towards other opinions, respect other forum participants. Arguing or insulting in any way is not allowed. Forum participants are required to be friendly at all times and write as much as possible directly. The continuously writing in third person (e.g. “people like *** don’t understand that”) is not allowed. 5. Look around first before you place a topic or add a reply. To maintain an overview the forum system is divided in different fora. Each forum has a specific subject. Place topics only in the forum in which it suits best. Do not start any new discussions when there already exists a discussion on the subject. For each forum there can be additional rules that involve maximum length or content of the replies. In those cases it is announced specifically on that forum. 6. The forum is meant for discussion on politics, the ECPM etc., not for discussions on faith, religion, etc. (unless there is a direct link to politics). 7. Try to avoid unnecessary topics or replies. The forum is NOT a chat box and loose remarks are not appreciated. Stick to the topic. Unnecessary replies or replies dat are off-topic can be deleted without warning. Spamming (the adding of large amounts of replies in a short time or the adding of the same reply multiple times) is not allowed. 8. Try to appreciate the work of the moderators. They make sure the forum stays operational and accurate. Discussing the way the moderators do their work is not allowed (on the forum itself). Questions or remarks about the moderating can be send to webmaster@ecpm.info. 9. Meta-discussions (discussions about discussions or about the way of discussing) are not allowed. The unfounded calling of things like “Moderator, do something about this!” can result in the changing or deleting of the reply. Complaints can be send to webmaster@ecpm.info. 10. Material that is protected by copyright can not be displayed unless is belongs to the forum participant. 11. Privacy can not be violated. Contact info, addresses or photos of someone else in any form can not be displayed without permission. 12. The changing of topics or replies is only allowed when they contain small errors. The changing of content or even removing of own topics or replies by forum participants is not allowed when other participants have already replied. When you want to withdraw what you wrote, add a new reply in which you write that you withdraw your previous reply. Do not delete your replies; that will make the discussion unreadable. Forum participants who delete replies continuously and by that ruin discussions, will be deleted and refused access to the forum. 13. Forum participants can not discuss anonymously. Each participant can only be active with one username. Participants who use several names will be warned and upon repetition deleted. 14. Forum participants that are deleted will be deleted again when they register with an other username. A prohibition can only be made undone after a request and positive reaction by the moderators (webmaster@ecpm.info). 15. Quote previous contributions only when relevant and keep the quotes short. 16. The moderators of this forum try to delete unwished material as soon as possible. Unfortunately is is not possible to check every topic. All topics on this forum are opinions and points of view of the participants and not of the moderators (except when topics or replies are added by the moderators). The moderators can not be held responsible for the content of the topics or replies of the forum participants. 17. This forum is not meant for commercial or non-commercial advertisements (picture, text, links). Appliance of these rules These rules apply to all discussion fora on all websites of ECPM, the ChristenUnion, PerspectieF, The ChristenUnie Research Institute, ECPYN and the Bestuurdersvereniging ChristenUnie (including project sites of these organisations). Each forum participant subscribes these rules by placing a contribution on the forum. Adjustments The forum rules can be changed without previous announcement. The most current version is always displayed on the website. Moderators The forum is being supervised by a group of moderators who operate under the responsibility of the webmaster. In case of doubt the moderators consult the webmaster. The webmaster eventually decides in all cases these rules do not provide. Rights of the moderators The moderators have the right to delete, change or move all topics or replies and close topics and fora when one or more of the rules are violated or when they see it fit for any other reason. Forum participants that do not abide by these rules or the instructions of the moderators can be denied temporary or permanent access to the forum. Edited
