During the 5^th Annual Members Congress, Vladimir Plamadeala (PPCD, Moldova) was elected as the new board member Eastern Europe. He succeeds Krasimir Momchev (BCC, Bulgaria) who also was the other candidate for the position in the board. To Mr Plamadeala, it was very important that there would also be a board member in the ECPM coming from a non-EU country. He was delighted with his election and looks forward to start working with the other board members in order to promote Christian-democratic ideas throughout Europe.

Also, the current chairman and board member for Western Europe, respectively Peeter Vosu (EKD, Estonia) and Kris Vleugels (C’axent, Belgium) were re-elected. Mr Vosu and Mr Vleugels were thrilled to continue their work with the full support of the ECPM members.

The ECPM would also like to express its gratitude to Krasimir Momchev for his work and commitment during the last four years. The ECPM also hopes that Mr Momchev will remain active within the ECPM framework in the following years.
