Thursday 13 March 2008 11:42 Friday 14th to Monday 17th 2008 at the Bucharest University Conference Centre, Sinaia, Prahova, Romania. Cost is 295 pound half board in shared accommodation, (single supplement 40 pound) with option of flights from Luton or Liverpool.Conference theme: "Christian Democracy and the EU in a New Century".
Emphasis will focus on fresh ideas for Christian Democracy, particularly with reference to an expanding EU, new Eastern European members - especially the most recent ones Romania & Bulgaria - and new countries that would hope to join in the future. The programme will include time to visit the many attractions of Sinaia, including the summer palaces of the former Royal family of Romania, take a walk in the beautiful Carpathian mountains and visit the "Arc", the Epiphany Trust home for young adults with learning disabilities.
