Urgent Action: Help Protect the New Life Church in Minsk
Thursday 20 August 2009 12:12 The Belarusian Christian Democracy party requests your actions of solidarity with the New Life church based in Minsk, which finds itself in a 4 year conflict with the Belarusian authorities over its legally purchased building. On 21 August 2009, Friday, the authorities of Minsk and the police are expected to take over the building. The 1000 strong community of the New Life church and their supporters will start today a prayer marathon inside the building to prevent the injustice to happen.We are asking you to send a letter of solidarity with the New Life church to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus (see attached).
