Modern day slavery is a human rights violation and heinous crime that robs people of their freedom, dignity and ability to flourish. It still exists today, even if you can’t see it. Right now, it is estimated that over 40 million people are trapped in modern day slavery.

The European Freedom Network consists of non-profits, activists and researchers seeking to fight and eradicate all forms of modern day slavery, such as commercial exploitation and sex trafficking.

This year's The Bridge conference is called Connect, Collaborate, Create! and is meant to foster greater collaboration between organizations and stakeholders in face-to-face setting, over several days, in order to produce innovative approaches and greater impact.
