Mr. Gyöngyösi is a Member of European Parliament from Hungary for the 2019-2024 mandate. He studied economics and political science and worked as a tax consultant before getting involved in politics full time. From 2010 to 2018 he served as MP in the Hungarian Parliament where he was the vice-Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

He is the President of Jobbik Conservatives, a party working on holding the Hungarian government accountable for its policies and promoting Conservative Judeo-Christian values.

As an MEP, he is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and of the Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly.
